Hay! I’m Nicole, the founder and creator behind Hit The Hay Pyjamas.

Hit The Hay is inspired by the feeling of a slow Sunday morning, the kind of day where you take time for yourself, move a little slower, and reset for the week ahead. For me, that looks like waking up gently, making coffee in a favorite mug, wandering through the farmers market, listening to music that softens your heart, and appreciating the small moments that make everyday life feel special.

The idea for Hit The Hay began with a conversation with my sister about fabrics, comfort, and how much time we actually spend in pyjamas. From there, a clear vision formed: to create thoughtfully designed pieces that feel good on your skin, fit effortlessly into daily routines, and are made with care from start to finish.

Producing everything in Canada has always been at the core of the brand. By keeping our production small-batch and working closely with local makers, we’re able to focus on ethical practices, quality craftsmanship, and designs made to last.

At its core, Hit The Hay is about taking time for yourself and embracing the simple joys of daily life. Each piece is designed to support moments of rest, ease, and intention, whether that’s a quiet morning at home or a full day dedicated to filling your cup.
